SAN SALVADOR, July 1, 2008.- Mexico defeated El Salvador 3-0 for their first victory in Pool B of the NORCECA U-21 Men’s Volleyball Championship where three spots are available for the 2009 World Championship of the age-category.

The sets finished 25-20, 25-18 y 25-11 and the home team showed a better level of game than the night before when they lost to Guatemala.

Mexico equalled its record at 1-1 with one more match to play against Guatemala.

The Pool B is led by Cuba who play against El Salvador on Wednesday and whose advance to the semi final phase looks predictable.
